Scenario Overview:
*
Here's the place to put the overview of what's going on. Where are the first aiders, how have they come across/been called to the scenario?
What is it about? This will be shown in the search pages and full scenario list so will draw people to your scenario.
How should the scenario progress?
*
How do you expect the scenario to progress? If the first aiders do what they are meant to, is the patient meant to get any better? What
happens if they don't do the right things? Will the patient deteriorate or stay the same? Is there a change in situation such as an added danger
or backup arriving?
These are the kind of questions you can answer here.

This tab is where you can add details of the first patient in your scenario. You can add details for more patients in the same scenario
when you submit this first patient on the finishing up tab (this just makes sure we can link all your patients together and none get lost as that would be really annoying!)
(If basing your scenario on real life experience, please do not submit any confidential or patient identifiable information!!)
Patient Name:
Age:
Sex:
Male
Female
Medication:
Add details of any medications the patient might be on. (e.g. 75mg Aspirin once daily)
If left blank, the default will be 'None known'.
Allergies:
Does the patient have any allergies? If left blank, the default will be 'None known'.
Past Medical/Social/Family History:
You can include any medical history that patient has. You could also explain any relevant social or family history
that would be relevant to the scenario (e.g. is a regular drinker or lives at home alone but gets by). If left blank,
the default information is 'none known'.
Findings on examination:
Give details of what information the first aiders will find out if they examine the patient correctly. This should include details of
signs and symptoms as well as any additional inormation that could be found out through taking a patient history. These findings are for
this specific patient. If you want to add more patients to the scenario, you will get a chance to do that later.
What treatment would you expect the first aiders to give?
Please let the reader know what treatment you would expect the first aiders to give this patient in the scenario. Try to keep it fairly general
rather than referring to your specific local protocols. E.g. saying 'complete primary survey' is better than
saying 'carry out the primary survey outline in policy document #number'.

Observations for patient 1:
Add up to 8 sets of observations for the patient! Use the help icons for guidance of what info. to put. Remember, you don't need to give values for everything - most first aiders
will never take a blood glucose measurement for example...so make it appropriate to your audience.

Got any tips for the patient actor?
This could be advice on how to act the particular illness or injury or tips on when/how to change their behaviour. You
could also add tips on what casualty simulation make-up might help. Anything you think might be helpful really!
What skill level/difficuly is this scenario designed for?
Please remember that this is the general difficult rather than a specific skill level from your particular
organisation. That way we can share knowledge and experience.
